Scrabble 2006

Scrabble 2006 rocked my socks.

I woke up late today and i had to rush to school. The most annoying thing was that i kept getting calls asking me where the shirts were.

Fish it lah.

Why the heck do i always get all these kind of crap? So much for being helpful and to get the shirts given out to the people. Its as if you people dun know that the shirts would be given out on Monday. Since you are the one who screwed up your own chance of getting the shirt then thats not my freaking problem. Dun come up saying that you not getting a shirt's my fault, because thats bullocks.

We were all gathered at the Parade Sq, all ready to receive breakfast and get our Alumni tags. We were all milling around and ching-chionging. Then we all went up to the Music Room to help put up the balloons and set up the snacks. All of a sudden, someone came into the room and told us that someone reported to the registration area already.

WAH.

All kan chiong.

Then Registration and Traffic all ran down to get into positions. We all run from Music Room all the way to the pagola. In the end, only ONE YTSS boy was standing there. We expected like 2-5 schools waiting for us to set up. Sacarly ONE only. What sial. So we ching-chiong with the kid for like five minutes then we all separated to move into positions.

Throughout the whole two hours that i stood there, i met too many cabs/buses. I think we can set the record for the most cabs and buses arriving at a single location. I smiled so much that i think my straight teeth are all gonna fall out. I said too many "Good Mornings" and "Welcome to Northland Secondary". I say until i want to forget the "Good Mornings" and the "Welcomes" in my dictionary. But it was all good, the traffic was pretty smooth. Unless you count the time where i had five buses coming in at one shot. Now that was NOT funny i tell you. Thinesh, Vik and i were like "WAH, bastard." We kan chiong that part only, other then that it was all okay.

I hate it the most when my team gets the blame for nothing. The whole registration was flooded with people and dun know which goon got so alarmed that Traffic got the after-effect for doing our job. Its like HELLO? Traffic's so smooth and there wasnt any cock-ups so what's with that? My team got scolded for nothing please. Thinesh, Vik and i were all pretty much annoyed.

So at 845am, we were all waiting for just THAT one school. Unity Secondary. They arrived at 857am. So they only had three minutes to get themselves into place. All of the Registration/ Traffic people all darn happy that the busing and signing in stuff was all done. So all of us could go to our next positions and relax.

The first break came and the participants were all freaking funny please! I actually saw like a couple of fellas running for the plates and food. Such barbaric behaviour i tell you.

I had to keep running around and to check the food points on both levels. I swear i wanted to die. Super tiring please! Then had to usher them back to the hall also. Everyone was basically pretty much tired out by the time the first break was over. We were all denied food also, so all of us were pretty much ready to give up. All of us resorted to getting our food and going to the far back of the school to eat it. Its that bad i tell you.

We finally got the World Record. 1067 people playing all at one go i think. So it was all worth it after all. Then we had to get the students all up to their designated buses and whatnot. The whole thing was messy but fast. So those that cannot catch what's going on had to go and stand and wave bye to the participants.

We were all darn tired, but it was all worth it.

Nanny Mcphee is darn good!
